Mr. Shadi Al-Hozaim, has worked as a legal consultant to the General Authority for Ports. The Lawyer, Mr. Shadi Al-Hozaim, has obtained a bachelor degree in law from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah in 2001 and has directly joined the General Authority for Ports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he has occupied several leadership positions, and assumed many tasks in a number of Saudi ports until 2016.
This has enabled him to represent the General Authority for Ports for more than fifteen years in many cases.
Besides, holding many of leadership positions in a number of Saudi ports has empowered him with a deep understanding of local, regional and international maritime laws, which include, for example, but not limited to: Drafting and preparing maritime regulations, auditing and applying the rules and instructions of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf seaports, Drafting and following-up marine circulars related to the activity of maritime agents, monitoring and applying the vessels seizure and release procedures, investigation of marine accidents, insurance claims and compensation, registration of ships and marine units, the work of marine agencies, customs procedures, logistics, vessels sale contracts and charter parties, maritime employment contracts, assuming the duties of compliance officer for many sectors in all matters related to the implementation of international conventions and agreements related to the maritime sector.
